Graduating in Graphic Design led me to a design position right out of College with Louisiana Travel Promotion Association. Working directly with clients led me to an offered position in Prepress Technology. I learned very quickly about the technical aspects of prepress strictly through on-the-job experience. 

After realizing how much I enjoyed working with customers I decided to try selling printing and print related services and was offered a position with Hederman Brothers Printing. I sold printing in Baton Rouge for a Ridgeland, Mississippi company for a year and a half. My proudest achievement was having the determination that led to winning the LSU Athletic Program account - designing and printing all baseball, basketball and football programs for LSU Athletics. I was able to work on this account again years later when I moved to a Baton Rouge local printing company, Moran Printing. I worked for Moran Printing for 9 years when I decided to accept an offer with Champion Graphics then TriStar Graphics Group, Inc. Emprint/Moran Printing acquired them in 2014 bringing me back home. Returning to Emprint/Moran Printing has allowed me to dramatically expand my products and in turn my customer base. It has been so exciting to be with a company staying on the edge of print technology, and in many cases leading it!

I began in the printing business over 30 years ago as a customer service representative. As I gained more knowledge and experience, I was promoted to management, eventually serving for five years as plant manager. Because I had such a wide range of experience in our industry, I was subsequently named State Government Liaison. In this role, I manage four major state contracts, which serve a variety of Louisiana state government agencies. I also help to provide the state’s universities with a variety of printing and graphics services. Over the years, I have become an expert on the state’s purchasing system, helping to ease various state entities through the appropriate state purchasing procedures.

Originally from Ohio, I moved to Lafayette and began selling printing over 30 years ago. from For more than twenty of those years I was a printing sales representative at TriStar Graphics Group, which merged with Emprint in 2014. I’ve worked with everyone: corporations, medical, educational and community organizations, small businesses and non-profits. I’ve worked with in-house marketing departments and advertising agencies. I pride myself on my expertise, innovation, knowledge of what works and what doesn’t, and devotion to my clients.

I offer my clients the expertise that comes from my 25 years in the printing and graphic arts industries. I’m an alumnus of Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, where I majored in Art. Following graduation, I moved to Jackson, Mississippi where I became a fashion illustrator for McRae’s Department Stores. As the years passed, I became a sales representative, first for a prepress service and then a printing firm. Having worked both as a graphic artist and as a printing sales representative, I have seen this industry from many angles. This has given me a unique insight into what the customer wants to achieve and how best to achieve it. Today, I am fortunate to be part of a company that is committed to merging the latest technology with old-world craftsmanship, giving our customers the highest quality products in the most economical and efficient manner possible.

I was born and raised in Monroe, La. I’ve been in the printing industry for 33 years and most of my clients in Northeast Louisiana have been long-time customers.

Watching my four grandchildren grow up is one of my favorite pastimes. You can find us at soccer, baseball and football games at least three times a week. Often I’ll run into many of my old and new customers at these same games and it’s great to get to know them personally as well as professionally.

When you’ve been in the same industry for 25 years, you tend to pick up a lot of knowledge. As Emprint’s National Accounts Executive, I deal mainly with large, corporate clients located throughout the country. I use my experience to help form working partnerships between Emprint and our corporate clients. Because we create strong, lasting relations with these clients, we are able to configure our technology and processes for their specific needs. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, my first professional job was in advertising. I was a media buyer and account executive for an advertising company in New Orleans. A few years later, my ambitious nature landed me a job working for a statewide publication and I later became the Advertising Director. Years later, I was approached by a local printing company to sell. I have worked in the printing profession for 24 years. I truly love it! I am constantly learning new things about the printing business. Where ever I go, I am always intrigued by a business's sense of print style. I encourage my customers to express their business through printing! With my advertising and marketing experience, as well as my printing knowledge, my goal is to always help my customers be successful! I am blessed to be working for Emprint/Moran Printing. I started in the printing business, in my dad’s shop in 1970 at age 16, worked in the print shop at NLU while attending college and later worked at Tom Gates, Inc., where I received an excellent education in the process of delivering quality printing in a timely manner.  After working for American Printing, Inc., Associated Business Forms and 20 years as the production manager at TriStar Graphics Group, Inc., I am very pleased to be at Emprint/Moran.

Our industry has experienced many changes and after 45 years in various positions in production, management and sales, I have a unique view of seeing jobs, projects and clients from many perspectives.   

I've been in the commercial printing industry for more than 20 years and I know what's important to my clients: keeping promises and treating their projects as if they were my own. I offer considerable experience in areas such as prepress, graphic design, press inks, coatings, bindery methods, finishing specialties, as well as product fulfillment and distribution logistics.
