Kodak Prinergy Connect
Emprint/Moran uses the latest version of Kodak Prinergy to drive its PDF workflow. Digital files are converted to print-ready PDFs and then normalized, trapped and imposed for final output. Files can be delivered and managed directly over the Internet through Emprint/Moran’s Kodak InSite web portal.

Trendsetters are used to directly image plates for Emprint/Moran’s offset presses. Computer-to-plate technology is fast and precise, producing a product that can be produced quickly that has allows for greater control of dot gain on press.

Oce Plotwave 900 Printer/Plotter

The Komori 4 is an extremely accurate 4-color Japanese press. This fine press prints a wide variety of products and is capable of museum grade color reproduction. Mailcrafters 9800 Inserter
The Mailcrafter can insert up to 6 static pieces or perfect match 2 variable pieces in envelopes up to 6.25" x 9.25". An integrated camera system and 2D barcoding ensures variable pieces match each other and the corresponding ink jetted address. The inserter can accommodate flat and folded singles or small books up to 6x9” while sealing the envelopes and positioning the non-flap side for address printing.
This division of Moran/Emprint concentrates on quick-turn printing — requiring 1- and 2-color ink on quantities up to 5,000 giving us the capability to produce offset press quality printing in a short amount of time. This press is great for small (usually quantities under 2,000) two or four-color runs. It features Heidelberg’s dot for dot accuracy resulting in extremely precise color reproduction. Because it is a perfecting press, it is capable of printing both sides of a sheet simultaneously. This press also runs a wide variety of paper stocks and weights up to 16-point cover.

Fully automated, perfect binder that produces up to 1350 high quality, perfect-bound, (glued) books per hour. This equipment automates changes from one job to another allowing them to be made extremely quickly and accurately. It is capable of binding books as thick as 2.5 inches.
Approximate Number Of Pages (50 lb. Offset Paper Stock): 1000 Pages - 500 sheets. A perfect binder glues the text pages to the cover to form what is generally known as a paperback book.
